Women in Medicine

The Women in Medicine (WiM) program in the Department of Medicine was launched in 2021to advocate for the recruitment, retention and advancement of women physicians. Support, mentorship, sponsorship and networking events allow for exchange of ideas, recognition of excellence and pathways for professional growth. Promoting gender diversity in leadership and open forum discussions around work-life balance continue to be critical discussion platforms for professional women. The Sodhani Foundation graciously sponsors an annual gathering, a grand rounds platform and the Elizabeth Blackwell Awards for faculty, fellows and residents.
