Message from the Chair:

The Department of Medicine of Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Brunswick is composed of approximately 180 paid and more than 450 volunteer faculty members organized in 11 divisions covering the major medical subspecialties.

In the years since the integration between Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, our Department has been undergoing a renaissance as we increase the number of faculty members and leaders in our department, allowing us to expand our cutting edge research, increase our unique academic approach to patient care, and provide medical education to the future of medicine: our medical students, interns, residents, and fellows.
