Jacquelyn Plick RN, MA, APN-C, CDCES 

Jackie Plick is a Nurse Practitioner, Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist in the Division of Endocrinology, Metabolism and Nutrition.  She earned her Nursing BSN degree from the College of New Jersey and her Nursing Master’s degree in Adult Primary Care from New York University.   

Areas of interest are evaluation, management, and most importantly motivation surrounding education goals of T1DM, T1DM in pregnancy, T2DM, GDM, and CFRD. She takes an active role and partners with our patient in the coordination and education related to Diabetes technology including CSII therapy, CGM, and BG monitoring.  Jackie is a member of the Association of Diabetes Care and Education Specialists and follows the AADE7 behavior goals curriculum.   

Ms. Plick has been an invited speaker on the Topic of Diabetes Education at the Annual NJ NLN Conference, she has been a guest panelist on the NYU Doctors Radio, has participated in Project ECHO – Complex Endocrinology as a Hub Specialist and is an Adjunct Professor/Lecturer – Rutgers University Diabetes Ambassador Course.
